Wilesco steam fire engine D305 

The WILESCO Model Steam Engine is based on an original fire engine which was produced by Magirus in Germany at the beginning of this century. The fire engine is operated by the steam engine. It can be driven forward and reverse. The speed is regulated by using the speed control valve.

Wilesco steam traction D407

All parts are solid brass with the exception of the flywheel and steering wheel, these are brass plated only, to facilitate manufacture. This superb model is not only a toy with great play value, but it is also an attractive show-piece for cupboard, glass-case or desk. The steam traction engine is projected against tarnishing by the application of a clear lacquer. The technical specifications are the same as for the polychromatic standard type D 405.

Wilesco Showman's Engine D409

A chemically black painted brass boiler, diameter 45 mms, length 150 mms, boiler volume 250 ccms with water gauge glass. Powerful, double acting reversible cylinder with flywheel of d=80 mms. The showman's engine can be run in forward or reverse depending on the movement of the flywheel. Spring loaded safety valve, steam regulator, steam whistle, steam jet oiler and foot bridge, traditional chain steering. A clutch engaged gear wheel permits the use of the engine and the operation of the dynamo either stationary or driving. The dynamo illuminates the eight diodes mounted around the canopy of the engine giving bright lights. The condensed water of this engine is collected below the smoke stack. Operating time about 15 minutes per fuel charge. Heated by dry spirit tablets. All single parts are manufactured from finely varnished metal.

Wilesco Locomobile D430 

Brass boiler diameter 5,5 cms, length 23 cms. This engine has a partitioned smoke chamber at the front for the condensation and to allow the smoke to escape through the chimney, which is hinged in the middle. The sight glass acts as a water gauge. Reversible double acting cylinder with two flywheels of d=8 cms which can be operated in forward and reverse. Exact indicating pressure gauge, spring loaded safety valve, whistle with chain, governor (just for show), steam regulator, steam jet oiler, water drain tap, black varnished boiler house with gangways and ladder. The locomobile is driven by a chain and the front axle can be steered. Operating time approx. 15 minutes. All parts are either painted or plated.

Wilesco steam workshop D141 

A complete workshop driven by a powerful steam engine. The countershaft fitted under the roof, drives the circular saw, the two-wheel grinder, the drilling machine and the hack saw, like in grandpa's days. Technical details: mirror polished brass boiler, diameter 5,5 cms, length 13,5 cms, boiler capacity 320 ccms, with water gauge glass. Boiler house true to life coloured and copper-plated with embossed brick type walls, two foot-bridges with ladder. Double-acting reversible brass cylinder with flywheel, spring loaded safety valve, pressure gauge, flywheel of d=8cms with grooved pulley, steam jet oiler.
All condensed water is collected in a sliding tray below the smoke stack and the waste steam is exhausted through the smoke stack.
